Air Commodore (Dr.) Bhaskar Nandi is a highly respected Gastroenterologist, Hepatologist, and Advanced Endoscopy expert with over 36 years of experience in managing complex digestive and liver diseases. A veteran of the Armed Forces Medical Services for 25+ years, he has performed 50,000+ therapeutic endoscopic procedures and played a key role in liver transplant care and critical liver disease management.
Nationally recognised as a Faculty, Examiner, and Governing Council Member of the Indian Society of Gastroenterology, Dr. Nandi is known for his expertise in chronic liver disease, IBD, pancreatobiliary disorders, fatty liver, and advanced endoscopic interventions.
Recipient of the Vishisht Seva Medal awarded by the President of India, he combines clinical precision with compassionate, patient-centred care. At Sarvodaya Hospital, he leads the department with a vision to establish a Centre of Excellence in GI & Liver Sciences driven by innovation, outcomes, and multidisciplinary expertise.
