Overview
The Paediatric Neurology Department is dedicated to managing neurological disorders in neonates, infants and children. These disorders can affect the brain, spinal cord, nerves, and muscles, and can impact a child's ability to move, think, and communicate. Some of them include headaches, migraines, autism, paediatric strokes, epilepsy, cerebral palsy, neuromuscular disorders, movement disorders, spinal issues and more.
Our team of experts are skilled at treating minor to major issues of the nervous system through medication and surgeries, if required. We leverage advanced neuro-imaging modalities for precise diagnosis and assessment of the condition, based on which our neuro experts plan a treatment procedure for the child. This may also include experts from other departments as well. We strive our best to offer a home-like environment to the child and ensure complete recovery through physical therapy, speech therapy and other rehabilitation facilities.
We render counselling and guidance to the parents and make them completely aware of the condition along with other precautionary measures that are required for the patient’s safety and recovery.
