Air Commodore (Dr) Bhaskar Nandi is a senior gastroenterologist, and hepatologist with over 36 years of experience in treating complex stomach and liver diseases. Drawing on more than 25 years of distinguished service in the Armed Forces and leadership roles at major tertiary centres, he has performed tens of thousands of advanced endoscopic procedures and managed a large number of liver transplants with excellent outcomes. He is widely recognised as a national faculty and examiner in gastroenterology, known for his expertise in chronic liver disease, inflammatory bowel disease, pancreatitis and fatty liver, and for his patient-centred, compassionate approach to care.

  • Transplant Hepatologist, Liver Transplant Team, Army Hospital (R&R), New Delhi managing a large series of liver transplants.
  • Director, Armed Forces Organ Donation, Retrieval & Transplantation Authority / Organ Donation Program.
