Overview
Angioplasty refers to the use of a balloon to widen or unblock an artery. However, during the majority of modern angioplasty operations, a short wire mesh tube known as a stent is also inserted into the artery. To promote better blood flow, the stent is left in place permanently.
Our interventional cardiologists provide diagnostic services including DSA (Digital Subtraction Angiography), Fractional Flow Reserve (FFR), IntraVascular Ultrasound (IVUS), Paediatric Catheterization Study for Shunt Calculation for ASD, VSD, PDA and more for Coronary & Peripheral Angiography (including radial access).
Sarvodaya Hospital's interventional cardiology team focuses on the diagnosis and treatment of heart conditions using minimally invasive cardiac treatments for Angioplasty. Instead of a significant incision in the chest, these treatments are usually carried out through a minor incision in the skin. We have the most up-to-date technology for the most accurate and precise assessment and treatment.
