Sarvodaya Hospital Paves the Way for CAR T-cell Therapy

In our pursuit of providing world-class cancer care at Sarvodaya Hospital, Sector 8, Faridabad , we are excited to share that Dr. Dinesh Pendharkar, Director of Sarvodaya Cancer Institute, along with Dr. Abhishek Raj, Senior Consultant & Head (Unit I) – Medical Oncology, Haematology & BMT, recently visited Massachusetts General Hospital, Boston, USA for a collaborative effort to bring cutting-edge CAR T-cell cancer therapy to Sarvodaya.
Chimeric Antigen Receptor (CAR) T-cell therapy is a groundbreaking form of immunotherapy that harnesses the body’s immune cells to fight specific types of blood cancers and haematological malignancies, including Acute Lymphoblastic Leukemia, Mantle Cell Lymphoma, B-cell Lymphomas, and Multiple Myeloma.
Sarvodaya Cancer Institute is proud to be one of India’s leading centres for cancer care, consistently at the forefront of adopting advanced technologies and treatments. As one of the few hospitals in North India to offer CAR T-cell therapy, this collaboration opens new doors of hope for cancer patients, empowering them to reclaim their lives from this challenging disease.
