The Fellowship program typically lasts for 1 years, divided into theoretical and practical components. The program combines academic learning with hands-on clinical experience, making it suitable for professionals looking to specialize in diabetes care.

  • Overview of the global and regional prevalence of diabetes.
  • Understanding the risk factors and demographic trends associated with diabetes.
  • In-depth study of the metabolic complications of diabetes such as insulin resistance, hyperglycaemia, and metabolic syndrome.
  • Preventive strategies and management protocols.

  • Study of acute complications associated with diabetes including Diabetic Ketoacidosis (DKA) and Hyperosmolar Hyperglycaemic State (HHS).

  • Detailed exploration of microvascular complications like diabetic retinopathy, nephropathy, and neuropathy.
